BATAVIA – The Batavia Concert Band has announced the winners of its season-long 50/50 Raffle.
Bruce and Mary Platek of Le Roy won the cash prize this year. Gordon Dibble received the runner-up prize, a gift basket containing scratch-off lottery tickets.
The band has also awarded two scholarships this year. The Conductor’s Scholarship Award went to Ainsley Czechowicz. The Board of Directors Award was handed out to Taylor Schofield. Each scholarship amount was $300.

The Batavia Concert Band also congratulated all of its weekly winners from the summer concert series. The band plays free concerts on Wednesdays in Centennial Park during the summer. This year’s season ran from June 22 to Aug. 3.
