NYS Police/Batavia man charged after domestic disturbance – Video News Service

On October 14, 2022, State Troopers from the Batavia barracks responded to a residence in the town of Batavia for a report of a domestic disturbance.

Troopers arrested James Preedom, age 38, of Batavia, NY, after an investigation revealed that Preedom violated an order of protection and harassed the victim. This incident also occurred in the presence of a juvenile.

Preedom is charged with criminal contempt 1st degree, harassment 2nd degree, and endangering the welfare of a child.

He was processed at SP Batavia and later released under supervision. Preedom is set to appear in the Town of Batavia Court at a later date.
