BATAVIA — City police charged the following people during the past week:
n Jason H. Freeman, 41, of Batavia was charged on a warrant for failing to appear in court. He was jailed with bail set at $5,000.
n Jacqueese X. Wapnieski, 19, of Batavia was charged with second-degree burglary, criminal mischief, grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property. He is accused of breaking into a house on Tracy Avenue.
n Tamera A. Innocent, 25, of Dansville was charged with harassment for punching a man during an argument.
n Joanne Jones, 53, of Buffalo was charged with harassment for a disturbance at a residential facility on East Main Street.
ELBA — Matthew S. Williams, 34, of Batavia was charged with criminal contempt of court for violating an order of protection, Genesee County sheriff’s deputies said.
He was arraigned and committed to Genesee County Jail.
KENDALL — Richard J. Capen, 34, of Medina was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny, state police said.
He is accused of stealing a firearm on July 17.
PEMBROKE — Michal A. Casterline, 66, of Indiana was charged with DWI after he was stopped at 7:21 p.m. Nov. 2, state police said.
He is to appear at a later date in Town Court.
ALBION — Heather L. Summers, 43, of Kendall was charged with petit larceny for shoplifting, state police said.
She is to appear at a later date in Town Court.
GENESEE FALLS — Three teenagers were arrested and charged with burglarizing and damaging a building on Oct. 2, state police said.
The three, ages 16, 16 and 17, were charged with third-degree burglary and criminal mischief and are to appear at a later date in Town Court. All three are from Fredonia, police said.
CLARENCE — Nicholas A. Martinez, 30, of Medina was charged Oct. 22 with aggravated DWI under Leandra’s Law, state police said.
Martinez was stopped by troopers on Stahley Road in the town and failed standardized field sobriety tests, police said.
Martinez was transported to State Police Clarence where a chemical breath test revealed a 0.16% blood alcohol content, police said.
He was released with appearance tickets for the town of Clarence court, where he is due to appear at a later date.
